Beautiful Fujitsu FM Towns Marty from USA Collectible Complete Immaculate
I have a rare, beautiful, complete, hard-to-come-by, collectible condition Fujitsu FM Towns Marty system. (The number one best of my collection). I have had it stored for the last 15 years and it is still in a very beautiful shape. Only played for a few times with lots of care and love. The CD drive works well and I confirmed its operation with my games before listing. There is no belt in the floppy drive. Body: Looks very clean with minor small finger marks (original grey color, no dirt nor yellowing) The console, Box, and certificate of authenticity match the same serial number (picture included) Manuals: In original baggy and only taken out to pictured them in this listing. They look and smell really great. Box: 28 years of age and looks beautiful. Since I got it I don’t see any change. Always kept wrapped, room temperature, almost no light. The bottom of box shows some marks of item being standing for a long period of time but nothing bad, looks really nice still. Controller and cables: Amazing shape and look clean, controller shows some of my marks/finger prints and one or two small scratches but nothing stands out. Original FM Towns Marty Mouse: certificate of authenticity matches serial number on mouse and comes with all papers/instruction manuals. Check the detailed photos I have attached. Collectible Condition FM TOWNS MARTY 2 Complete from USA
Since this is a very expensive and unique piece of gaming, I will do my best to describe it below so please read all! Collectible Condition FM TOWNS MARTY 2 Complete from USA. This complete system comes with every single original insert. I have owned it for about 24 years. I bought it from the original person who first bought it in Japan. It has the Denny’s certificate. The proof of authenticity shown in the pictures matches the serial number on the console. I have always kept it in bubble wrap and have been very careful when pulling it out to play it. The console itself has very minimal marks on it. It comes with two side carton case/cushion on the sides to protect it from movement when stored. Pulling those from console when I have played have been the minimal signs of wear on the console and perhaps some of my fingerprints. It plays very well like when the first time I played it. It comes with the original two marty controllers. It has a lot of papers, manuals, instructions and cards. It also comes with the original CD instruction manuals. There is the second to last picture where I have circled a little side of the CD opening lid. I circled in red that side as I have to tell you that over time there is a little security pin that kind of compressed and I had to insert a little extra pin to take it back to the original spacing. This security pin helps the console to start spinning the cd game when the lid closes. The floppy FDD needs a new belt. Please note that the game I have pictured for testing purposes is not included. Again, the game is not included. Well, I do have to pass it on to another collector. I feel one day I have to let it go and before I keep getting older, it is time to let it go. It hurts but I have taken my decision already. Please, message me before purchasing just to tell me before hand the country you are from. I will do the best of jobs to pack it inside carton and a lot of bubble wrap. It is a heavy item.
