Rare Nihon Budo Zenshu Vol. 17 Complete Set Martial Arts Bujutsu from Japan. The Complete Works of Japanese Budo, Volumes 1-7. Edited by Yoshio Imamura and others, Jinbutsu Ourai Sha. In the context of these techniques, many of the scrolls and manuscripts that define and direct these martial arts have often been secret texts held by the head families, rarely made public. Even the few historical documents that exist have often been lost or scattered due to weather and human disasters. Moreover, the martial arts techniques themselves, as mentioned previously, should ideally be refined through Eastern philosophies and be a cultural heritage unique to Japan that the world can be proud of. As the world changes, these arts are in danger of gradually transforming. It might be natural for things to change, but preserving the unchangeable within the changing is also a duty imposed on modern people. With deep reflection on these facts, the Research Lab of Physical Education History at Tokyo Education University and the Nihon Kobudo Shinkokai decided to compile this “Complete Works of Japanese Budo” in seven volumes to preserve the traditions of techniques and mental training long into the future. Most of the manuscripts included in this collection are unpublished. Even those that have been printed before were checked against the originals to ensure their location was documented and photographed entirely or in part to share the vivid impression one gets from the originals. At the same time, interpretation and scholarly research were deliberately withheld, leaving that to the esteemed readers. In compiling this collection, numerous prior documents were consulted, and the cooperation of many was sought. In particular, invaluable historical documents were provided by the following individuals, whose extensive cooperation in photographing these materials cannot be overstated. If this collection is deemed a definitive reference in martial arts, it is indeed thanks to these valuable historical documents. Here, we express our gratitude by listing their names. In bringing this collection to publication, it is also notable that Jinbutsu Ourai Sha deeply resonated with the mission of this project and decided to publish it, transcending profitability. Furthermore, I cannot forget to mention the devoted efforts of Ichiro Watanabe (Faculty Member of the Liberal Arts at Tokyo Education University, Instructor in the Faculty of Physical Education), who deciphered ancient texts, as well as Kazuyoshi Oba (Instructor in the Faculty of Physical Education) and Akira Yoshihara (Master of Education), who dedicated themselves to the editorial work. For all of us involved, there could be no greater joy than if this collection meets the discerning eyes of fellow enthusiasts and experts from various fields, and if we receive candid criticism and guidance. RARE Vintage 1980 Bandai GoDaikin Daidenjin Model Kit UNUSED COMPLETE FROM JAPAN
Hi there and thanks for looking. Im not exactly sure of the scale but the tank vehicle measures approx 6.5″ long on the chassis, the robot should be approx 5″. This kit is in excellent condition, and is totally unused and still in sealed bags with all decals and instructions and insert. The original box does have some wear, warps and wrinkles as well as traces of a few pcs of tape and price tags. Also there is one split corner of the top section of the box. Thanks and good luck!!
